Some Things I’ve Learned So Far

OK, I’m not going to tell you I’m any kind of marketing expert. I’m down in the trenches willing to learn and to do the research to do that. So, I’m going to share some of what I’m doing as I move along this journey. One thing I have going for me is a bullshit meter. What’s that? It’s what kicks into play every time I run into websites with their rags to riches overnight story.

What’s Your Mentality?

If you’re reading this part of my blog, I think I can make a pretty fair assumption that you’re wanting to make money online. Have you thought about the mentality you are bringing to the table with the desire to make money?

With all the hype around online marketing it isn’t hard to get caught up in the idea that what you really need to do is find just the right product and the money will just roll in. NOT!!

You need to rid yourself of that mentality first. Just like an offline business, you not only need to learn the mechanics of your chosen business, you need to learn how to market that business and you have to develop a business mentality. Intertwined into the business mentality is a financial mentality.

Status Page and Overview

I’ve created a status page which will be updated monthly. I’m not laying any claims to knowing what I’m doing at this point. I’m where every other business person is in the beginning, knowing what they want and working to learn what they need to get there. As each month passes, I’ll update the information on the status page, leaving the previous months showing. You, the visitor, can be your own judge of whether you want to try a smiliar journey. I’ll be the judge of how happy I am with my journey.

A Slight Shift in Focus

This blog is expanding its viewpoint. I’ve decided that not only do I want to focus on debt solutions for those struggling with their debts, I want to have the flexibility to explore most aspects of money — the earning, spending it wisely, saving and investing and of course dealing with debts.

A lot of content on a range of subjects and viewpoints is in the planning. A newsletter subscription is now available which will bring excerpts of new content and special offers for subscribers only directly to your email inbox.

Stick around, the journey is getting underway.

We Will Remember Him

In honour of our fallen CanadiansThey shall grow not old, as we who are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them

In memory of our fallen Canadian:
